Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America’s International Falls mill seeks a Mechanical Quality Control Supervisor to oversee QA/QC of fixed equipment, perform field inspections, and manage tank integrity projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with API standards, and coordinating with operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with field technicians and contractors, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance across tank inspections

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years maintenance related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge/Competencies: ASME Boiler & Vessel Codes, ASME Piping Codes, Pressure Vessel Inspection, and related inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage all QA and QC aspects of mechanical repairs.
• Oversee tank integrity projects per API and company policies.
• Support capital projects requiring tank construction per API standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, and Environmental to plan tank work.
