Job summary

Packaging-Corporation-of-America is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee fixed equipment QA/QC, including weld and assembly inspection, and to manage tank integrity projects per API 650/653. This role requires strong knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, and NDT methods, with field inspections and travel as needed.

You will coordinate with Operations, Scheduling, and Environmental teams to plan tank work, prepare budgets and procurement plans, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ASME and API knowledge required for inspection and compliance.
• Strong understanding of tank integrity and related regulations.
• Experience with OEM and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC for fixed equipment, including weld and assembly inspection.
• Lead tank integrity projects per API 650/653 and related standards.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and procurement plans for tank work.
• Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, and Environmental to plan tank work.
• Provide technical support during tank integrity reviews.
• Supervise contractors and field maintenance staff.
• Maintain and enforce PCA piping specifications.
• Review material specs, welder qualifications, and necessary NDE.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accessibility.
