Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in International Falls, Minnesota is seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Supervisor at our White Paper Mill. This role leads all QA/QC for fixed equipment, tank integrity projects, and API-compliant activities, partnering with Operations, Scheduling, and Environmental teams to keep facilities safe and compliant.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of ASME codes, welding and NDT methods, and a proven ability to manage budgets, plans, and vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years maintenance experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Knowledge/Competencies: ASME Boiler & Vessel Codes, ASME Piping Codes, Pressure Vessel Inspection, Pressure Piping Inspection and Pressure Relief Systems, Tank Evaluations, Risk-Based Inspection, Fitness for Service, and Damage Mechanisms

Responsibilities

• Manage all quality assurance and quality control aspects of mechanical repairs.
• Manage tank integrity projects for tanks according to API and company policies.
• Support portions of larger capital projects requiring new tank construction per API and company policies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, and Environmental to develop schedule for performing tank work.
• Prepare estimates, budgets, schedules, materials and contract specifications, procurement plans, and work plans for projects, track and report on project progress and performance.
• Plan, schedule, and execute tank integrity projects to meet Company standards and policies.
