Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion seeks a Tank Farm Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Mechanic First Line Manager (FLM) to lead a team of skilled mechanics at the Aiken, SC site on the Savannah River Site (SRS).

The FLM will supervise maintenance activities for E&I systems, ensure compliance with work control, safety, quality and conduct of operations, and mentor staff to uphold high standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or higher degree.
• 3+ years of nuclear experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing systems.
• Ensure compliance with work control, safety, quality and conduct of operations.
• Train and qualify mechanics; ensure fitness for work.
• Review work packages and lockouts for maintenance.
• Coordinate with scheduling to develop accurate work schedules.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Interface with support organizations to start and complete activities.
