Depot Connect International in Texas is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to work on ISO Tank Containers, performing pressure tests and maintenance on valves, gaskets and gauges.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with safety focus.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work at heights on tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges.
• Drain tank and ensure it is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring/testing instruments.
• Observe and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Repair/replace defective parts and inspect used parts.
• Lubricate and clean components.
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
