Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks experienced personnel for ISO Tank Container maintenance and repair. You will perform pressure tests, drain cycles, and replace valves, gaskets, and gauges to ensure tank integrity.

Candidates should have a mechanical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. This role involves using hoists, lathes, and various hand and power tools in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background is required.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented and meticulous.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work at heights on tanks.
• Comfortable working in enclosed spaces inside tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and ensuring it is dry
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring/testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of issues
• Repair/replace defective parts, inspect/adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools
