Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a hands-on technician to work on ISO Tank Containers, performing pressure tests and on-tank maintenance to ensure safe operation.

You will drain, dry, and inspect tanks, repair valves, gaskets and gauges, and operate hoists, cranes and precision tools, collaborating with a global team across multiple locations.

This role emphasizes safety, mechanical aptitude, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with safety awareness.
• Comfortable wearing a respirator.
• Able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces inside tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools
