Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a skilled technician to work on ISO Tank Containers, performing pressure tests and repairs to valves, gaskets, and gauges. The role includes draining and drying tanks, utilizing hoists and precision tools, and diagnosing mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work at heights on top of tanks.
• Work in enclosed spaces inside tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges.
• Drain tank and ensure it is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts.
• Lubricate and clean parts.
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
