Job summary

Black & Veatch, an employee-owned company, is seeking a Tanks Construction Support Manager for Beech Island and related sites. You will coordinate field and shop tank construction for combined and simple cycle power projects, ensuring schedules, safety, cost, and quality decisions align with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years of construction management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of tank foundations, plate, welding, coatings and linings, inspection and turnover is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tank construction on combined cycle and simple cycle projects from start to turnover.
• Work with safety, schedule, cost and quality decisions with Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain construction procedures and quality programs for tank construction.
• Lead and participate in design constructability reviews and risk assessments.
• Support subcontract development and ensure staffing, equipment, and materials meet project needs.
