Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Beech Island-based Boilermaker Foreman to direct the construction, assembly, maintenance and testing of boiler systems. You will lead lead hands and craft workers, enforce safety programs and drive efficient progress on site in Beech Island, SC.

You must have boilermaker craft experience, familiarity with boiler codes, and NCCER certifications. Strong leadership, scheduling, and safety planning are essential for successful on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising boilermaker crews.
• Strong working knowledge of boiler systems and codes.
• 18+ and ability to complete onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, planning and testing of boiler systems.
• Lead safety programs and ensure zero injuries.
• Coordinate with crew and other crafts to meet project plans and schedules.
• Review timecards and ensure correct hours and coding.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety planning.
