Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support our nationwide tank construction projects. You will weld, cut, and assemble above-ground metal storage tanks using arc and FCAW processes while handling power tools and lifting equipment.

The role requires precise reading of drawings and strict safety adherence. We value clear communication, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Willingness to learn and show up on time every day.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging as needed.
• Weld plates using 7018, 7024 and 6010 as required.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, blowers, grinders and other tools.
• Use lifting equipment and tank scaffolding safely and efficiently.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan weld sequences.
• Complete safety analyses and follow site safety protocols.
