Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder / Welder for nationwide projects. You will perform arc welding, cutting, and assembly of above-ground storage tanks and related structures across multiple sites in the United States.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality every day.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to job duties.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR checks.
• Willing to submit to pre-hire, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing.
• Welding ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing arc welding and gouging.
• Using generators, compressors, tuggers, grinders, and other power tools.
• Welding tanks with 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW and submerged arc methods.
• Using lifting equipment and scaffolding to assemble tanks.
• Reading detailed erection and fabrication drawings and planning sequences.
• Completing safety analyses and site-specific training.
• Maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
