Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to join a nationwide team. You will perform arc and torch cutting, welding, and related fabrication tasks on above-ground storage tanks and related structures. Travel may be required to project sites across the country.

The role demands reading detailed drawings, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with crew members to complete installations efficiently.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and organization are essential.
• Must be able to solve problems and suggest improvements to systems.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and safety practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Weld using various processes and consumables.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings.
• Plan welding sequence and tank assembly.
• Operate forklifts, lifts and other heavy equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and complete site trainings.
