Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder/Welder to join our nationwide team. The role covers arc and torch cutting, welding plates, reading fabrication drawings, and following safety protocols on tank projects across the country.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding experience and ability to read fabrication drawings preferred.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, jacks, hoists, and other power tools.
• Weld tanks using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW and submerged arc methods.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequence.
• Use lifting equipment and vehicle-mounted lifts safely.
• Conduct safety trainings and follow site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with crew and complete other duties as assigned.
