SGB-SMIT USA, a division of SGB‑SMIT Group, is a leading transformer manufacturer in the energy sector. We invite skilled operators to contribute to core and coil assembly, oven/vacuum processing, and final testing across a dynamic, intercultural team in the USA.

Formación

• 2 years of manufacturing experience required; transformer manufacturing experience preferred.
• Occasional climbing, lifting, bending, and carrying loads up to 50 lbs.
• Shift work is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform jacking of core and coil assembly at various stages.
• Install units in oven or vacuum tank for processing.
• Clean, repair or replace LTCs in part or whole as specified by engineering; Ensure proper timing.
• Braze leads and fabricates bus‑work when required.
• Perform hand taping connections when required.
• Grind lid and take for re‑assembly.
• Measure, calculate and make necessary gaskets.
• Tank core and coil assembly and make connections as required.
• Dress out and strip unit at final test (bushings, radiators, ancillary items).
• Perform and verify all work in accordance with manufacturing methods.
• Maintain clean facilities and equipment.

Your profile

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience required; transformer manufacturing experience preferred
• Occasional climbing, lifting, bending, and carrying light to moderate loads (≤=50 lbs.)
• Some exposure to fumes, primarily from paint and adhesives.
• Frequently required to work at heights, primarily on work platforms, occasionally on step ladders.
• Shift work.
