Job summary

AV is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Vulnerability Management and Endpoint Security, with a focus on Tanium administration and optimization. The role collaborates with Cybersecurity Operations, IT Infrastructure, and application owners to identify exposures and drive remediation.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in enterprise endpoints, and the ability to translate vulnerability data into actionable remediation actions while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, vulnerability management, or related experience.
• Hands-on Tanium administration in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Understanding of CVSS, exploitability, and risk-based prioritization.
• Experience with enterprise patch-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Vulnerability Management across workstations, servers, cloud workloads, and infrastructure.
• Identify, analyze, validate, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities at scale.
• Develop and maintain Tanium sensors, dashboards, and reports.
• Configure and optimize Tanium for asset visibility and security posture.
• Administer Tanium Comply for vulnerability assessments and CIS benchmarks.
• Coordinate patching and remediation with IT and owners.
• Develop automation to improve vulnerability management workflows.
• Provide security metrics and executive reporting.
