Job summary

AV is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support Vulnerability Management and Endpoint Security with a focus on Tanium administration, engineering, and optimization. The role combines hands-on security engineering with vulnerability identification, remediation, patch management, asset visibility, and security automation.

You will work with Cybersecurity Operations, IT Infrastructure, application owners, and stakeholders to translate vulnerability and asset data into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity or related field.
• Hands-on Tanium experience in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of patch management and risk-based prioritization.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Vulnerability Management across workstations, servers, cloud workloads, and other infra.
• Identify, analyze, validate, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain Tanium sensors, dashboards, and reporting.
• Configure Tanium Comply for vulnerability and configuration assessment.
• Support patch deployment and remediation activities.
• Develop scripts to automate security tasks and improve processes.
