Job summary

AV is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to advance Tanium-focused vulnerability management and endpoint security initiatives. The role combines hands-on security engineering with identifying exposures, prioritizing remediation, and driving vulnerability closure across enterprise endpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, or vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience administering or supporting Tanium in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and patching processes.
• Windows enterprise environment knowledge.
• Understanding of CVSS, exploitability, and risk-based prioritization.
• Experience with patch-management processes in large environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint security architecture and technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Vulnerability Management across workstations, servers, and cloud workloads.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Tanium modules and services.
• Develop Tanium sensors, questions, packages, actions, and dashboards.
• Monitor Tanium client health, coverage, and endpoint participation.
• Develop automation and integrate Tanium with SIEM/XDR and ITSM.
• Support patch management and remediation workflows.
• Maintain asset visibility and endpoint hygiene with Tanium data.
• Provide security reporting, dashboards, and metrics.
