Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Business Support Analyst 3 - TANF Policy in Atlanta to analyze TANF program data, coordinate state audits, and develop performance reports.

This position requires an associate degree with 3 years of related experience; a bachelor’s is preferred. The role may offer telework options depending on the position and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field with 3 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience may be substituted year-over-year.
• One year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 2 (GSP131).
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience preferred.
• Data analysis experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets program data to determine TANF compliance.
• Coordinates single state audit processes with TANF agencies and oversees corrective actions.
• Develops monthly/quarterly reports monitoring state DFCS performance.
• Participates in User Acceptance Testing for TANF system changes.
• Provides technical assistance to OFI staff, regional staff and county staff.
• Writes protocols, deliverables, policies, and procedures.
• Delivers meetings and presentations to state and community partners.
• Builds positive working relationships with community leaders and state partners.
