Job summary

Heartland for Children in Bartow, FL is seeking a professional to determine TANF eligibility and manage related case processing within FSFN/CCWIS. The role includes GAP eligibility, mandatory documentation, and collaboration with finance and program staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of office experience; an Associate degree in social work is preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected for accurate case management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of TANF and Title IV-E eligibility.
• Experience with FSFN/CCWIS and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for TANF and handle re-determination.
• Process GAP and other related program eligibilities in FSFN/CCWIS.
• Generate and review FSFN/CCWIS reports and logs.
• Maintain audit-ready electronic case records and documentation.
• Scan, index, and store documents per retention standards.
• Collaborate with RevMax, Finance, and DCF staff to resolve issues.
• Provide cross-functional support and backup coverage.
• Coordinate monthly TANF redetermination packets and follow-ups.
• Monitor Medicaid-related adoption closures and youth aged 18 transitions.
• Support internal reviews, audits, and compliance inquiries.
• Stay updated on TANF, GAP, Medicaid and related policies.
