Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in marine construction with proven leadership, estimating, project management, and operational planning experience.
• Preferred B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Works with Tampa Operations leadership to achieve objectives for Orion Marine’s construction projects in the region.
• Provides strategic direction to Project Managers and guidance on key decisions for current projects.
• Develops and implements project plans based on bids, cost estimates, schedules, contractual guidelines, and safety/environmental requirements.
• Oversees progress on awarded projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets.
• Leads direct reports to maximize productivity on ongoing construction projects.
• Approves and manages project spending and holds staff accountable for costs.
• Maintains client relationships to uncover new opportunities and projects.
• Ensures adherence to safety and operating procedures to protect employees.
