Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a Talent Strategy Coordinator to support the Executive Search Team and its portfolio of senior and executive-level searches. This role provides essential operational and administrative support, including sourcing and selecting candidates for current and future roles.

The Coordinator partners with the Director, Talent Strategy and Vice Provost, Faculty Recruitment to deliver high-touch candidate experiences, coordinate interviews, travel, and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience supporting talent acquisition or recruitment coordination is preferred.
• Strong planning and coordination of meetings, interviews, and campus visits with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with accuracy and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including preparation of polished client-facing materials.
• Discretion with confidential information and a collaborative, service-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews and campus visits, including complex schedules and logistics.
• Arrange candidate travel, accommodations, transportation, hospitality, and reimbursements.
• Manage search timelines and deliverables for faculty and staff searches.
• Source candidates through job boards, resumes databases, and outreach to build pipelines.
• Prepare reports and maintain applicant tracking and internal communications.
