Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a Talent Strategy Coordinator to support the Executive Search Team and its portfolio of senior and executive-level searches. The role provides essential operational and coordination support across the full candidate lifecycle.

Collaborate with the Director of Talent Strategy and the Vice Provost, Faculty Recruitment to ensure a seamless search process, from sourcing to final selection, while coordinating interviews, travel, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience supporting talent acquisition or recruitment coordination activities.
• Ability to plan and coordinate meetings, interviews, campus visits, and candidate-focused events with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and preparing polished, client-facing materials.
• Proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Office; capable of producing presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews and campus visits, including complex schedules and logistics.
• Schedule search committee meetings and support related logistics.
• Develop detailed candidate itineraries and secure interview schedules across stakeholder calendars.
• Arrange candidate travel, accommodations, transportation, hospitality, and reimbursements.
• Maintain applicant tracking and support reporting throughout the search cycle.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience reflecting VCU's professionalism.
