Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Talent Sourcing Associate to identify, engage, and attract top talent for executive and niche roles globally. You will partner with recruiters, manage pipelines, and execute creative sourcing strategies across platforms.

You will conduct research, screen candidates, manage timelines, and build networks via LinkedIn, job boards, and universities while maintaining high attention to detail and executive presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years related work experience in area(s) of specialization or equivalent combination.
• Experience in creating credibility, trust, and partnerships with recruiters, candidates, and senior-level leadership through clear communication, responsiveness, and stakeholder support.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with an applicant tracking system, including reporting and analytics.
• Experience in social media channel sourcing and online presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, etc.), combined with advanced internet research skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting and advanced sourcing techniques (Google Custom Search Engine, Boolean Sourcing, and others) for targeted candidate identification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiters in proactively developing hiring pipelines, priorities, and timing.
• Become a subject matter expert for each recruitment, globally and cross-functionally, by quickly grasping and understanding the needs of the business.
• Conduct resourceful research and deliver results with little supervision while effectively managing multiple complex projects with competing priorities.
• Work independently and take initiative to use creative and outside-the-box sourcing techniques to proactively identify top talent for niche and/or growth positions.
• Engage in internal kick-off calls, screen resumes, and assist in daily recruiting project management.
• Build relationships and directly source key talent through networks, LinkedIn, web searches, social media, and other sources.
• Track and disposition prospects, sources, and applicants via CRM (Phenom) and ATS (Workday).
• Produce reports for the Recruiters and Hiring Managers detailing research results and status of each recruitment.
• Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews and send prep materials in advance.

The Talent Sourcing Associate (“Associate”) partners with Executive Recruiters (“Recruiters”), the Knowledge Manager, Scheduler, Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, and hiring teams on passive candidate identification and engagement strategies to fill executive and niche roles across the globe. Duties include strategically researching, identifying, and contacting top talent, as well as screening and qualifying individuals for executive-level recruitments. The Associate also implements targeted sourcing initiatives, leverages social networking sites, and uses other recruitment tools and advanced techniques to find passive talent. Organization, service excellence, executive presence, and the ability to quickly pivot and thrive in a fast-paced environment are key to this role.Responsibilities include:* Partner with Recruiters in proactively developing hiring pipelines, priorities, and timing.* Become a subject matter expert for each recruitment, globally and cross-functionally, by quickly grasping and understanding the needs of the business.* Conduct resourceful research and deliver results with little supervision while effectively managing multiple complex projects with competing priorities, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency, high attention to detail, and the ability to deliver results within established timelines.* Work independently and take initiative to use creative and outside-the-box sourcing techniques to proactively identify top talent for niche and/or growth positions.* Engage in internal kick-off calls, screen resumes, and assist in daily recruiting project management – including ~40% dedicated time in client- and candidate-facing tasks, i.e., conduct and document sourcing calls, managing prep/debrief calls, phone screens, and reference checks.* Build relationships and directly source key talent through personal networks, LinkedIn, web searches, social media, job boards, associations, university career sites, and other sources.* Track and disposition prospects, sources, and applicants throughout the recruitment lifecycle via established database tools: CRM (Phenom) and ATS (Workday).* Produce reports for the Recruiters and Hiring Managers that details research results and the status of each recruitment.* Identify and prioritize high potential profiles from the prospect and applicant pools and present to Recruiters.* Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews, as needed, and send prep materials in advance.* Attend online networking events to learn new sourcing tools and techniques, especially those related to finding and developing a targeted talent pool.* Help train field staff in creative sourcing tools and recruiting techniques, as needed. ### **What You’ll Bring:*** Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years related work experience in area(s) of specialization or equivalent combination.* Experience in creating credibility, trust, and partnerships with recruiters, candidates, and senior-level leadership through clear communication, responsiveness, and stakeholder support.* A minimum of three years of experience working with an applicant tracking system, including reporting and analytics.* Experience in conducting sourcing calls, phone screen assessments, and reference checks.* Experience in social media channel sourcing and online presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, etc.), combined with advanced internet research skills.* Knowledge of recruiting and advanced sourcing techniques (i.e., Google Custom Search Engine, Boolean Sourcing, and others) for targeted candidate identification.* Experience in coordinating and leading projects.* Experience in writing job advertisements and posting jobs online.* Experience in handling confidential and sensitive data.* Proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to train others.* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Box, with strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills.* Experience in working well under pressure and under tight and changing deadlines.* Experience multi-tasking, being resourceful, and persistent.### **Salary Information:** The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $77,800 -$103,800. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
