Job summary

Alliance Health System in Matawan, NJ is seeking a Talent Sourcer / Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team. This onsite, full-time role reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and focuses on sourcing, engaging, and qualifying candidates prior to recruiting.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, communications-focused, and capable of building strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates across clinical and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Recent college graduate or 1+ year experience in sourcing, recruiting, HR, or related field
• 4-year college degree in HR or similar field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy, positive attitude, and confidence speaking with people
• Creative thinker who enjoys problem solving
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset

Responsibilities

• Proactively source and engage talent through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, referrals, networking, schools, events, and creative sourcing strategies
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines by identifying, engaging, and nurturing both active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs
• Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand hiring priorities and seamlessly transition qualified, engaged candidates into the recruiting process
• Represent Alliance Health Systems as a brand ambassador by promoting our culture, mission, and career opportunities in the community and across online platforms
• Develop innovative sourcing and outreach strategies to generate recruiting leads and attract top talent in competitive markets
• Support recruiting marketing efforts including social media campaigns, hiring events, and community partnerships
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through professional communication, timely follow-up, and strong relationship management from first outreach through interview coordination
• Maintain accurate candidate tracking and sourcing activity while helping improve recruiting processes and pipeline effectiveness

This is not a traditional talent sourcing role. We are looking for someone who thrives on connecting with people, thinks creatively, and enjoys finding great talent in places others may never think to look. You will play a key role in helping us identify, attract, and engage top talent prior to the recruiting process, across our clinical and operational teams.

As one of the front lines of our talent acquisition strategy, you will help bring our culture to life, representing the Alliance brand, creating exceptional candidate first impression, and serving as an ambassador for what makes Alliance different. You will closely collaborate with recruiters to understand internal priorities and demands.

About You…

• Recent college graduate OR 1+ year of experience in sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, sales, customer service, or a related field
• 4-year college degree in HR or a similar field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Creative thinker who enjoys problem solving and trying new ideas
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset
• Comfortable using LinkedIn, social media platforms, and technology tools
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Coachable and eager to grow within recruiting and talent acquisition
• Passion for building relationships and helping organizations grow through great people

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or sourcing tools
• Background in recruiting, staffing, sales, hospitality, marketing, or call center environments
• Experience creating social media or digital outreach campaigns
• Knowledge of healthcare recruiting or medical office environments
