Job summary

Unity Village is seeking a Talent Operations Specialist, People Support to lead full-cycle recruiting and manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit. The role serves as a trusted partner to hiring managers, delivering high-touch, customer-service experiences for candidates and employees.

The position focuses on sourcing, onboarding, stay/exit interviews, and compensation benchmarking to stay market competitive, reporting to the Chief People Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organization preferred.
• Experience facilitating onboarding, training, or employee-engagement programs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, active-listening, and communication skills with discretion and good judgment.
• Genuine customer-service mindset with hiring managers, candidates, and employees; consultative partner rather than order-taker.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for all open positions.
• Own requisitions and candidate pipeline in the ATS.
• Extend offers and coordinate background checks, references, and pre-employment requirements.
• Track recruiting metrics and report trends (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.).
• Build pipelines with diverse talent sources aligned to the organization's mission.
• Onboard and orient new hires; conduct stay and exit interviews to surface engagement trends.
• Coordinate training programs; benchmark compensation against market data.
