Job summary

California Institute of the Arts is seeking an HR Coordinator, Talent Operations to support recruitment, faculty contracting, and onboarding on-site at the Valencia, CA campus. The role collaborates with the Senior HR Business Partner and HRBP on faculty contracting and employment-related tasks.

The position manages the ATS, drafts offer letters, coordinates temporary staffing, and monitors the HR inbox, ensuring compliance and data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required for HR roles.
• 1–2 years in HR or recruitment coordination is preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Higher education experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post job requisitions and manage postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Draft and issue offer letters for staff and temporary positions.
• Coordinate temporary staffing and on-call/per diem hiring.
• Support faculty contracting processes and track contract routing in HRIS.
• Enter and update employee data in HRIS; maintain data integrity.
