Job summary

Ross Stores, a leading off-price retail chain, seeks an in-office staffing professional to manage non-exempt staffing and HR processes for a designated Distribution Center. You will coordinate with staffing agencies, prepare new hire folders, audit files, and post open positions while ensuring timely salary work-ups and approvals.

The role requires routine collaboration with HR leaders, adherence to process guides, and accurate reporting. A degree is preferred and in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• 10 key by touch.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos preferred.
• Must be able to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and possess a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Regular communication with Staffing Lead to understand Non-Exempt staffing needs.
• Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies to address Distribution Center needs.
• Communicate with HR Directors and follow Process Guides.
• Process Staffing Orders and deliver reporting daily.
• Prepare New Hire Folders and audit Associate files (I-9s).
• Post Non-Exempt open positions and complete salary work-ups for approvals.
• Create Offer Letters and schedule candidates with Hiring Managers.
• Convert temporary associates and coordinate onboarding and testing.
• Submit separation reports and complete exit interviews.
• Respond to unemployment claim information requests.
• File performance actions in Goal Post System and deliver required reporting.
