Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Kissimmee, FL to lead store operations, supervise Associates, and ensure adherence to company standards in service, merchandising, and safety.

The role involves analyzing store performance, staffing, training, and maintaining a clean, customer-focused shopping environment. You will partner with the Store Manager and District Manager to drive sales and execute company programs in a dynamic off-price retail setting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all areas assigned by the Store Manager.
• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
• Oversee payroll administration and associate scheduling.
• Develop non-exempt Associates through recruiting, training and coaching.
• Maintain store safety and loss-prevention standards.
