Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store/Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Memphis-area store. You will supervise the team, manage payroll, drive customer service, scheduling, and merchandise presentation while upholding company standards.

The role requires at least two years of retail management, strong communication, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a commitment to safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
• Lead store operations and ensure company standards.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Schedule Associates to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in safety meetings.
