Job summary

Jonesworks is seeking a driven Account Executive in Talent + Entertainment to join our strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management team in New York. You will coordinate press coverage, craft creative PR programs, and manage day-to-day client relationships with senior team support.

You'll draft pitches and releases, oversee media placements, and mentor junior staff while maintaining discretion with confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant PR experience across talent clients.
• Strong understanding of consumer, lifestyle, and fashion industries.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven success in securing major press opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong writing, editing, and pitching skills.
• Ability to take direction from Supervisors and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage press coverage for talent and entertainment clients.
• Develop creative PR and marketing programs to support client objectives.
• Draft, review, and edit pitches, press releases, agendas, and materials.
• Lead coordination with outside partners, agencies, and brands.
• Foster client relationships and day-to-day contact with senior team.
• Manage Account Coordinators and interns; delegate account projects.
• Draft media and client-facing materials.
• Vet inbound press opportunities and staff media days/interviews.
• Staff client events such as press tours, red carpets, and media days.
• Maintain sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.
• Oversee PR calendar; develop story ideas and pitches for targeted media.
• Manage and facilitate key media placements.
• Aggressively pursue new media angles and story opportunities.
• Network with media across outlets and maintain relationships.
• Oversee media lists with junior staff.
