Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist in Nashua, NH. You will design and manage programs that grow our internal talent, support employee career growth, and build partnerships with educational institutions and community partners.

The role focuses on apprenticeships, career pathways, ESOL, and workforce readiness initiatives, reporting to the Director of Workforce Development. This is a grant-funded position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce development or related area.
• Strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with data analysis to drive program improvements.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Workday and analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage workforce development programs and apprenticeships.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR partners, and leaders to support internal mobility and retention.
• Assess workforce needs and identify capability gaps for critical roles.
• Coordinate apprenticeship programs and monitor participant progress.
• Build partnerships with colleges, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to inform decisions.
