Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in McLean, VA seeks a results-driven Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across multiple communities. You will build targeted, multi-channel sourcing campaigns, partner with hiring managers, plan local hiring events, and nurture proactive talent pipelines to fill current and future openings.

What You’ll Do

• Execute targeted, multi-channel sourcing campaigns to build qualified candidate flow for roles across assigned communities.
• Partner consultatively with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, shape recruitment strategies, and share best-practice guidance.
• Plan and manage local hiring events, including logistics, promotion, landing pages, and digital marketing materials to maximize attendance and visibility.
• Source active and passive talent through job boards, social media, community partnerships, school partnerships, advertising channels, and direct candidate outreach.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines, sharing qualified passive candidates with hiring managers for both immediate and future openings.
• Train community teams on ATS usage, recruitment tools, interview techniques, candidate engagement, and compliant hiring practices.
• Track recruitment performance and sourcing-channel ROI, provide improvement recommendations, strengthen local employer-brand relationships, and ensure EEO, state-law, and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of high-volume recruiting support, ideally supporting multiple locations or working in agency, healthcare, or senior-living environments.
• Strong hands-on sourcing capability across job boards, social platforms, recruiting tools, networking, community outreach, and passive-candidate engagement.
• A consultative, relationship-driven talent team member who can effectively partner with hiring managers, community teams, candidates, and external market partners.
• Experience managing multiple open roles, deadlines, events, and priorities while maintaining organization, responsiveness, and a strong candidate experience.
• Comfort using applicant tracking systems; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret recruiting metrics, identify hiring trends or bottlenecks, and recommend practical process or sourcing improvements.
• Strong communication, training, problem-solving, adaptability, and compliance knowledge, including EEO and state-specific hiring requirements; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience, and overnight travel may be required.

Pay Range: 55,000.00 - 72,800.00
