Talent Acquisition Support Specialist
Hours-Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $28.00/hr
Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding process for new hires. This position is responsible for managing I-9 verifications, coordinating onboarding activities, and providing general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering an exceptional new hire experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Coordination
- Coordinate pre-employment onboarding activities, including preparation of offer letters and new hire documentation
- Ensure a seamless new hire experience by clearly and promptly communicating onboarding steps
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions as needed
I-9 and Employment Verification
- Accurately complete and maintain I-9 forms in compliance with federal regulations
- Perform E-Verify checks and ensure timely employment verification
- Conduct regular audits of I-9 records to ensure continued compliance
General Talent Acquisition Support
- Provide administrative support to recruiters and hiring managers, including interview scheduling and ATS updates
- Assist with maintaining job postings in the ATS and on external job boards
- Respond to inquiries from candidates and internal teams regarding onboarding and employment processes
- Maintain digital and physical HR files securely and accurately
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and administrative processes
- Collaborate with the TA team to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or a related field, with onboarding experience preferred
- Knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify compliance strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HR platforms such as Greenhouse, Workday, and UKG
- A strong commitment to delivering a positive experience to candidates and new hires
