Job summary

AltexSoft is looking for a Talent Acquisition specialist to own end-to-end recruitment for senior and hard-to-fill IT roles. This remote role focuses on finding candidates where the search is non-traditional, partnering with hiring managers to move roles forward and unblock decisions.

You will navigate ambiguity, apply structured, strategic search methods, and bring judgment and persistence to high-stakes searches, balancing speed and quality in a fast-changing environment.

We’re looking for a TA specialist who enjoys working on roles where things are not straightforward. Most of our hiring is focused on senior and niche IT positions, where success comes from persistence, creativity, and strong judgment. This role comes with real challenges — and real impact for the right person

About Project

You'll join a TA team focused on senior and niche IT hiring — the kind of roles that don't follow a template. This isn't high-volume, repetitive recruiting; it's about finding the right person for positions where the bar is high and the search itself is often the hard part. You'll work closely with hiring managers, own the process end-to-end, and have real influence over how each search is run.

You Have

• Strong background in IT recruiting
• Experience with senior and niche roles
• Ability to stay effective in fast-changing environments
• High ownership and internal drive

Good judgment — knowing when to push, when to adjust, and when to rethink approach

Would be a plus

• Experience recruiting for specialised technical domains (e.g. infrastructure, data, security, or engineering leadership)
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies for low-supply, high-demand talent pools
• Experience working in fast-changing or early-stage environments
• A network or track record in niche IT communities
