Job summary

Olin is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Manufacturing and Skilled Trades in Charleston, TN, with additional locations in Lake Jackson, TX. The role offers a hybrid schedule up to 1 day remote per week and relocation assistance.

You will lead high-volume hourly recruiting, partner with hiring managers, and build strong candidate pipelines to support our US manufacturing sites. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s/Master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience in high-volume full-cycle hourly recruiting in manufacturing/industrial/union environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience sourcing hourly talent via proactive recruiting, community events, job fairs, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly manufacturing and skilled trades roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and staffing plans.
• Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines through sourcing, events, referrals, and local outreach.
• Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre-employment process.
• Maintain ATS data and hiring documentation including requisitions and compliance with policies.
• Track recruiting metrics and use data to identify process improvements.

Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist - Manufacturing and Skilled Trades
Location: Charleston, TN

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Focus: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Manufacturing and Skilled Trades, you'll lead high-volume hourly recruiting efforts that keep Olin's manufacturing operations running. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver an efficient hiring process while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. This position will be the primary manufacturing and skilled trade recruiter for the US Chemical and Bleach locations and be aligned with the Olin Talent Acquisition team.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Essential Job Functions

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume hourly manufacturing, production, skilled trades position and others as needed.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and staffing plans.
• Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, community partnerships, hiring events, employee referrals, and local outreach.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience by conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and managing candidates through the pre-employment process.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system data and hiring documentation, including requisition creation, candidate management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring activity, using data to support business objectives and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Minimum Requirements

• Must meet one of the following requirements:
• o High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years recent and relevant experience; OR,
• o Bachelor’s/master’s degree* (Human Resources or Business discipline preferred) with 2+ years recent and relevant experience.
• Prior experience with high-volume full - cycle hourly recruiting and in a manufacturing, industrial, or union environment.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience sourcing hourly talent through proactive recruiting strategies, community events, job fairs, and educational partnerships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with an OFCCP-regulated employer preferred.
• Experience with Workday as an ATS strongly preferred.
• Strong client relationship skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent Olin professionally.
• Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
