Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Responsible for assisting hiring managers with the recruitment process. Screens candidates, conducts exploratory phone screens and makes recommendations to hiring manager. Assists with hiring proposal calculations and collaborates with Compensation Team to determine and extend final offer.
Responsibilities
- Partners with and provides guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Assists hiring managers by prescreening resumes/applications for assigned jobs and
conducting phone screening of candidates
- Seeks out passive candidates through creative sourcing
- Consults with Compensation team on compensation analysis to determine market
competitive and equitable salary recommendations
- Ensures productive recruiting activities are met daily, weekly, and monthly as set forth by
department goals
- Ensures accurate and complete records are maintained within the ATS for each recruitment
- Guides hiring managers on processes and practices related to search committees, required
search committee training, behavioral interviewing techniques, EEOC and OFCCP
guidelines
- Serves as a liaison with area employment agencies, industry associations and Department
of Labor
- Completes reports on hiring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Works with hiring managers and HR Business Partners on future workforce planning
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Required Experience
At least one (1) year of experience in recruiting, HR or related experience in a customer service environment
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution in higher education
Preferred Experience
Formal recruiting or sales experience
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System
Experience in higher education setting
Proposed Salary
The minimum of the salary range is $54,160 per year. Offers are based on relevant experience.
