Job summary
Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist II to lead full-cycle recruiting for designated departments, ensuring candidates align with our culture and goals.
You will partner with hiring managers, source through multiple channels, and deliver a strong candidate experience across the hiring journey. Key responsibilities include weekly staffing updates, involvement in onboarding, licensing, and team member relations initiatives, and promoting the Live!
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- PHR certification preferred; license per Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency may be required.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and selection for designated positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define candidate skills and experience.
- Source talent via campus events, career fairs, job boards, social networks, and staffing agencies.
- Provide weekly staffing progress updates to stakeholders.
- Attend job fairs and community events to promote Live! brand and culture.
- Assist with onboarding, licensing, and team member relations programs.

Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Managing full-cycle recruiting and selection process for designated positions and departments.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to identify ideal candidate skills and experience needed.
- Sourcing talent by developing a pipeline of candidates through various sourcing techniques. Campus events, career fairs, online job boards, social networking sites, and staffing agencies if needed.
- Consistently communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to candidates, hiring managers, and Executives throughout the selection process.
- Providing weekly summaries of staffing progress.
- Attending job fairs and other community events as required for recruiting purposes.
- Communicating with candidates and team members to promote the Live! brand and culture to build interest in the company.
- Answering general questions from team members regarding the hiring process and onboarding, benefits, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Always maintaining the company’s professional reputation and confidentiality as a member of the Human Resources Department.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local community organizations and key stakeholders.
- Maintaining and modeling a positive attitude when interacting with operators, team members, community representatives, and candidates.
- Supporting company-wide initiatives to meet internal and external customer business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives.
- Assisting with onboarding, licensing, and implementing company-wide team member relations programs and/or events.

Must-Haves:
- At least two (2) years of experience in recruiting.
- A four (4) year degree in a comparable field of study is preferred.
- PHR certification preferred.
- Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

- The casino is over 300,000 square feet and requires the ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
Working Conditions:
- 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
