Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by turning complex information into clear insights.

You will collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to help leadership optimize performance, control costs, and improve forecasting accuracy. In this role you will develop reports and models, build visualizations for management, and support budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of analytical reporting incl. data mining/analysis; financial analysis experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, finance, or related field; equivalence considered.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and complex formulas.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency license.

Responsibilities

• Supports and maintains communication with internal customers; ensures reporting requirements are met.
• Develops, executes, and maintains routine reporting to measure financial performance vs sales/mMargin objectives.
• Creates advanced insights and visualizations for management.
• Supports workforce management system for staffing forecasting and reporting.
• Performs financial modeling for industry/region intelligence, cash management and treasury projects.
• Analyzes processes and suggests tech-enabled improvements for performance.
• Assists with annual operating budget planning with department management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Supports, develops, and maintains effective communication and excellent relationships with internal customers ensuring their reporting requirements are identified and consistently met.
• Develop, execute, and maintain routine reporting and analysis to measure financial performance against company sales and margin objectives.
• Create advanced insights from data and build into easily interpreted visualizations for management.
• Develop and support of a workforce management system used company-wide for tracking staffing levels, accurate forecasting, and reporting of results to management.
• Accountable for financial modeling for reporting of industry and regional competitive intelligence, strategic planning, cash management and treasury related projects.
• Analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements to maximize performance and efficiencies via the use of technology.
• Assist with planning and preparation for annual operating budgets including working closely with operating department management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with the following is preferred but not required: Virtual Roster, Kronos, Tableau, Teradata, IGT Table Touch, Bravo Poker
• General knowledge of SQL and/or Access would be a plus.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement programs is preferred but not required.
• Basic accounting experience or education is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in analytical reporting including development, data mining, and data analysis, experience with financial analysis is
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, finance, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a relevant field may be substituted.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and other advanced calculations/functions is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time and move up and down steps daily
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and assist guests in the loading and unloading process
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
• Use of stairs and elevators
