Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on attracting experienced professionals and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

You will work closely with managers, participate in job fairs, and help ensure a positive culture while driving recruitment efficiencies across locations like Houston and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting.
• Onboarding experience preferred.
• Significant knowledge of HR functions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (DOT/FMCSA preferred).
• Detail oriented with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain recruiting applicant tracking system (Workday) up-to-date for open positions.
• Source passive candidates on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms.
• Create, post, and manage advertising across social media.
• Coordinate and conduct phone interviews with candidates.
• Manage pre-screening and background checks; assist onboarding.
• Oversee candidate experience from application to training completion.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Represent the organization to applicants and collect data.
• Identify recruitment issues and improve processes.
