Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 7 years of experience working for an architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting firm.
• Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design for mechanical and process systems ranging from simple to complex.
• Coordination with design team members across disciplines.
• Participation in client design review meetings.
• Preparation of P&ID drawings and engineering reports.
• Services during construction, including field verification.

Skills

Understanding of basic building code requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent technical writing ability

Highly organized

Ability to learn quickly

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with AutoCAD

Familiarity with Revit

Familiarity with Bluebeam

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
