Position Overview

The client’s Platforms and Services sector Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner with a strong background in recruiting for engineering and skilled trades roles. This is a fast-paced, collaborative position on a high-performing and supportive team.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will work directly with hiring managers and key decision-makers to shape recruiting strategies and identify talent for some of the client’s most critical programs. The role is ideal for someone who is proactive, strategic, and passionate about sourcing the right talent at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring teams and business leaders to develop and execute recruiting strategies.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through various sourcing techniques.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and external databases for candidate management.
• Draft and send engaging outreach communications to potential candidates.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Represent and promote the client’s employer brand in the marketplace.
• Partner with HR and other departments to ensure smooth processes for compensation, compliance, onboarding, and related functions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of six (6) years of recruiting experience, ideally in engineering or skilled trades environments.
• Proficient in using job boards, social media platforms, and ATS/CRM systems (Kenexa/BrassRing or similar).
• Demonstrated experience recruiting in an OFCCP-compliant environment.
• Proven ability to build recruiting plans and manage the full-cycle recruitment process.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication to various audiences.
• Track record of driving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the recruitment process.
• Experience supporting industries such as ship repair, shipbuilding, or skilled trades.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience
