Apex Service Partners in Pittsburgh, PA is staffing a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build aggressive recruiting strategies across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades. You will actively source passive candidates, manage pipelines, and own the full lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding for roles across our national network.

Your focus is on delivering a superior candidate experience while leveraging creative outreach, relationships, and data-driven sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Proven recruiting success in fast-paced environments; skilled trades/ service industry experience preferred
• Hunter mentality with success sourcing in low-flow markets
• Creativity, persistence, and willingness to try new approaches
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple openings simultaneously
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies (iCIMS preferred)

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to develop aggressive, results-driven recruiting strategies
• Proactively source and recruit passive candidates through networking, social media, referrals, trade schools, industry events, and direct outreach
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill field and leadership positions across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding
• Continuously identify new and creative ways to generate candidate flow in highly competitive labor markets
• Represent Apex and partner brands at job fairs, hiring events, trade schools, and community outreach events
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while moving quickly and maintaining strong communication throughout the process
• Track recruiting metrics, evaluate sourcing effectiveness, and adjust strategies to achieve hiring goals

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - primarily based in our West Mifflin office, with occasional travel to nearby partner locations, including Cleveland and Plum, for hiring events and recruiting support.

What You'll Be Doing:
