Apex Service Partners, a national network of home services brands, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build aggressive sourcing strategies and recruit top talent in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades. This role focuses on proactive outreach, relationship-building, and a fast-paced hiring cycle to fill critical roles across partner locations in the Pittsburgh area.

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven recruiting success in fast-paced environments; skilled trades/ service industry experience preferred.
• Hunter mentality with success sourcing candidates where applicant flow is limited.
• Creativity, persistence, and willingness to try new approaches when traditional methods fail.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and networking skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred).

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - primarily based in our West Mifflin office, with occasional travel to nearby partner locations, including Cleveland and Plum, for hiring events and recruiting support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to develop aggressive, results-driven recruiting strategies.
• Proactively source and recruit passive candidates through networking, social media, referrals, community partnerships, trade schools, industry events, and direct outreach.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill field and leadership positions across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades.
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Continuously identify new and creative ways to generate candidate flow in highly competitive labor markets.
• Represent Apex and our partner brands at job fairs, hiring events, trade schools, and community outreach events.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while moving quickly and maintaining strong communication throughout the process.
• Track recruiting metrics, evaluate sourcing effectiveness, and adjust strategies to achieve hiring goals.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven recruiting success in a fast-paced environment; skilled trades, construction, or service industry experience is strongly preferred.
