Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reports To: HR Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

This is a remote position with occasional travel as required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent for Power Delivery Central. This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process for various union and non-union positions across multiple companies, with a focus on ensuring a positive candidate experience, aligning talent with business needs, and meeting organizational staffing goals. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and execute strategies for sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing offers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including posting job ads, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating job offers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate and lead in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including leveraging job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and talent networks to ensure a steady stream of potential candidates.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms with candidates in alignment with company compensation policies and practices.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process and that all new hire paperwork is completed.
  • Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and cost-per-hire to evaluate the success of recruiting efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to raise awareness about the company and its job openings.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including non-discrimination and equal employment opportunity laws.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferable in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of roles.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media recruitment platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
