Description


Acara Solutions is seeking a temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a medical device manufacturer. This position can be fulfilled remotely, but the ideal candidate resides in or near Buffalo, NY, Salem, VA, or Minneapolis, MN.

Type: 3-month contract with potential extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST

Responsibilities:

  • Engages in workforce discussions with leadership to align recruitment strategies with the organization's broader workforce and operational plans.
  • Provides expert advice on all aspects of recruitment, including requisition management, labor market trends, sourcing techniques, the selection process, recruitment technologies, and social media strategies.
  • Collaborates to understand larger workforce strategies, ensuring coordination across HR and Talent Acquisition (TA) teams.
  • Utilizes innovative sourcing techniques such as targeted advertising, Boolean logic, social media, industry networking, local partnerships, professional organizations, agency partnerships, and job fairs. Actively develops new sourcing methods, including diversity-focused approaches, to proactively identify talent and leverage industry trends
  • Manages the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, including employer branding, candidate pipeline development, and compliance outreach, while tracking and achieving key performance metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and time-to-hire.
  • Partners with HR and hiring managers to gather comprehensive job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Tracks contingent workforce augmentation levels and conversion metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Enhances the candidate experience by facilitating the interview process, communicating the total rewards package, and providing timely feedback to candidates.
  • Verifies credentials, sponsorship, and eligibility requirements for candidates, as necessary.
  • Oversees pre-employment verification for new hires and conversions, ensuring a seamless process.
  • Maintains accountability for recruitment system data integrity and candidate management
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA, EEO, and affirmative action laws, and performs additional tasks as required.




Job Requirements




Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with the recruiting life cycle is required
  • Must be able to manage data and analysis on top of maintaining requisition workload.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking tools is required
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Manufacturing or medical device industry is preferred
  • Workday experience is preferred
