Job summary

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment including requisition management, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions.
• Understanding of employment legislation and recruitment practices.
• Experience with MS Office and recruitment software/ATS.
• Experience assessing candidates for qualifications and fit.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Recruitment experience in manufacturing, production, or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with hiring managers, providing coaching and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Review resumes, screen candidates, and conduct initial phone screenings.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers; participate as needed.
• Support hiring managers with candidate evaluation and final selection decisions.
• Extend offers and negotiate terms in line with policies and compensation structures.
• Coordinate onboarding with HR for a smooth transition of new hires.
• Help improve recruitment processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Protect confidential information throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Pay: $25.00–$26.00 per hour

Position overview

Kelly Services is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our client in Sauk Village, Illinois. The assignment is expected to last approximately3–4 months, with the possibility of permanent hire sooner. Conversion may depend on attendance, work quality, schedule compatibility, performance, and business needs.

In this role, you’ll support full-cycle recruitment for hourly positions and partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract and hire qualified candidates. You’ll advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, help create a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding, and represent the client’s talent brand.

Key responsibilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, as well as recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Experience assessing candidates based on qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Recruitment experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar industry.
