Our client, one of the most prestigious and highly regarded AmLaw firms, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its growing Talent Acquisition team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of the full-cycle staff recruiting process across multiple departments, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to attract top talent and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
This role will be hybrid and can sit in SF, Silicon Valley, Santa Monica, Boston, NYC, or D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for staff positions across multiple departments, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define position requirements, and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
- Develop sourcing plans and proactively identify high-caliber candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, agencies, educational institutions, and other channels.
- Coordinate and conduct candidate screening and interview processes, including resume review, assessments, references, and background checks.
- Prepare and extend offers and employment letters while ensuring a seamless and highly responsive candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HR leadership, staffing agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Draft and refine job descriptions and employment advertisements while managing recruiting vendors and related costs.
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure recruiting practices align with firm policies and applicable state and federal employment requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on recruiting, interviewing, and lawful hiring practices.
- Support recruiting programs, job fairs, networking events, and other initiatives designed to strengthen the firm’s presence in the legal talent market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and candidate sourcing strategies.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with professionals at all levels, including senior leadership and hiring managers.
- Willingness to travel periodically for recruiting assignments and events.
