Boutique law firm seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead full cycle recruiting for legal and administrative roles, manage outside agencies, and shape recruiting strategy in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee candidate experience, collaborate with hiring managers, and align recruitment with workforce planning. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in legal or professional services recruiting; strong communication and ATS proficiency.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Familiarity with hiring laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Zoom, and G-Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruiting for legal and administrative roles.
  • Oversee lateral attorney and administrative hiring.
  • Create and post job descriptions on ATS.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and prepare interview materials.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 Annually

Boutique law firm that represents some of the biggest names in technology on a range of Internet-related legal issues including cybersecurity, privacy, government surveillance, alternative data, and fantasy sports is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who is ready to hit the ground running, and hungry for a challenge! This position involves full cycle recruiting and onboarding for legal and administrative roles including sourcing, management of outside recruitment agencies, candidate management and recruitment strategy. This role will support and run the Firm's recruiting function and implement recruiting strategy. We prioritize innovation and creative problem-solving. In addition to the traditional responsibilities below, we strongly encourage our staff to improve on established methods, seek out inefficiencies, and help build an infrastructure that can support a growing firm.

Responsibilities
  • Full cycle recruiting
  • Oversee and execute lateral attorney and administrative hiring
  • Create and post job descriptions on applicant tracking platform
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the hiring managers and/or other human resource staff, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Partner with HR to align recruitment strategies with overall workforce planning and organizational goals.
  • Train hiring managers and interviewers on effective interviewing techniques and best practices to enhance candidate evaluation.
  • Use a variety of search methods (search firms, internal referrals, online research tools) to source candidates.
  • Build and manage relationships with outside recruitment agencies, HCBU alumni groups, affinity bar associations and other networking groups to build and enhance Firm brand among candidate pools.
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget, including expenses related to recruitment marketing, job postings, and external partnerships.
Onboarding
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding process, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
  • Prepare pre-boarding activities, including background check, conflicts, and reference checks.
  • Collaborate with administrative departments to facilitate equipment setup, and training schedules.
  • Schedule a 60-day check-in with new hires to assess their integration into the team, address any concerns, and gather feedback on the onboarding experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years legal or professional services recruiting experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, and G-Suite scheduling tools
  • Comfort with communicating with candidates on social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Compensation

Firm is commited to providing transparency in compensation, in accordance with applicable wage transparency laws, The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
