Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Norfolk, VA to partner with hiring managers and HR partners to forecast needs and deliver proactive recruiting solutions.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, source diverse candidate pools, and participate in TA events across Virginia and North Carolina. The role supports a broad range of roles, including hard-to-fill positions, with a focus on strategy and execution.

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
Two years of HR experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED are required.
3-5 years recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
Recruitment in Healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Experience with high volume recruitment, hard to fill positions.
Sourcing experience required.
Ability to attend recruitment events and TA events strongly preferred (Virginia/North Carolina).

Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify strategic recruiting solutions to meet those needs.

This role manages the recruitment process for all open positions in assigned business units with a focus on identifying and tapping into new sourcing resources and utilize proactive techniques to recruit diverse, high value candidates.

This role may lead projects and excels at maintaining and successfully addressing a high load of positions, a variety of positions and/or hard to fill positions in the areas of greatest need.

Education

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $68,598.40 - $103,396.80 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
